Galatenko Nataliya

    Galatenko N.A. was born in 1948 in Ivanovo (Russia). In 1974 year she has finished biological faculty of the Kiev State University by name Ò.G. Shevchenko. From 1973 year she worked at Institute of organic chemistry Àcademy of Science of Ukranian SR with took the positions of the engineer, senior engineer, low scientific employee, high scientific employee. In 1984 has defended a PhD thesis on a subject: "The Hygienic estimation of polymer stuffs of medical assigning " on obtaining of a scientific degree of the Candidate of biological sciences, worked on the position of managing lab of toxicology of polymers of Department of biocompatible polymers IMC NAS of Ukraine. In 1997 has defended a Doctoral thesis on the subject of: "Influence of biological active implants on reparative regeneration and differentiation processes”. Since 1998 she is head of the Department of polymers of medical appointment.

   1997-1999 The Vice-chairman and the Chairman of a Commission on Medical Material Science and Toxicology of Products of Medical Purpose in Committee on New Medical Engineering of Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
   1996-2000 The member of Expert Council on medical-biological problems GKST of Ministry of Education and Science.
   1996-2000 the member of a Commission on Certification of Establishments and Organisations at Committee on a hygienic regulation Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
   1996-2002 the member of Expert Council "Fundamental Bases of Perspective Technologies " Ministry of Education and Sciences.
   2002-2003 Experts of State Department of the Control Behind Quality, Safety both Manufacture of Medicinal Preparations and Products of Medical Purpose. 
   Since 2003 the authorised representative of National Agency on Accreditation on Ukraine.

    There are 87 scientific works, including 2 books and 11 Patents as the writer and co-author by Galatenko N.A. 

 

The main directions of scientific activity:

  • Mechanisms interaction of urethane-containing polymers with macromolecules of biologically active compounds.
