The main achievements of Department

   The theoretical principles of creation of hydrophilic polymer systems for the directional transport of medicinal in an organism are designed.

   The synthesis and chemical modification of urethane-containing polymers by biologically active compounds is offered and their potential role is studied as polymers of medical using.

   The methods of creation of hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymer matrixes on the basis of polyurethanes, poly-N-vinyl pyrrolidone both hydrogels as endogenic and exogenic carriers of medicinal preparations are scientifically justified.

   The reversion mechanisms of a tumour tissue under local influencing of differentiation inductors of a tumour tissue are established.

   Established mechanisms of influencing biologically active ceramics in a structure of polyurethanes on processes of an osteosynthesis of an osteal tissue.

Perspective scientific problems

   Synthesis of polyurethanes of a different molecular mass and hydrophylic natures, both linear, and cross-linked, which one have adjustable density of a cross-link, obtainings of polymer mixes on the basis of polyurethanes, hydrophylic oligomers and polymers, hydrogels and medicinal preparations, detail analysis of influencing of an intermolecular interaction of medicinal preparations and polymer on diffusion of medicinal in polymeric, time and speed of their release, chemical modification of polymer stuffs.

   As a result of the conducted researches the extending principles of regulation of a biological activity of urethane-containing polymers will be formulated.
